The Forest Is Calling

This original painting on canvas features the elusive Australian Eastern Whip bird. These birds with their delightful ‘whip’ sounding call, will often be heard chiming in the early mornings. They hide in the eucalypt forest and scrub surrounding my art studio. Earthy tones have been used in this abstract painting to allow the bold outlines of the birds to shine through.
