'Forest Rambler' is a unique and original abstract painting inspired by a recent rainforest walk up in the Mount Glorious Park where you are completely surrounded by lush green foliage and the distant cry of the lyrebird. I have many rainforest plants in my garden and have included snippets of these in this gorgeous painting such as small palm fronds, ginger and crow's nest. I love the rainforest and the instant coolness it provides which is a relief from the hot Brisbane weather. I love this painting with it's soft mauve, apricot, green and blue colours. There are some interesting shapes and of course the quirky main character, the elusive lyrebird. I hope this artwork will soon grace it's forever home and uplift the space with soft colours and joy.
